As part of ensuring comprehensive safety and compliance with fire safety requirements, a drill was conducted at the office of the organization LLC "Russian Aviation House" to evacuate employees in the event of a fire. The event was planned in nature and was attended by all office employees without exception.
The main goal of the drill was to update and refresh the personnel's theoretical knowledge, as well as to practically practice skills of behavior in the event of a fire and exiting the office.
During the theoretical part of the drill, employees, based on introductory scenarios received from the drill leader, described the order and sequence of their actions:
Practical skills practice.
The culmination of the event was the employees' actions when the automatic fire alarm system installed in the office was activated. At the signal "Fire in the office, everyone leave the premises," employees practiced safe evacuation skills from the office via evacuation stairs. All participants demonstrated coordinated actions and strictly followed the instructions of the drill leader and the mediator.
After all employees had evacuated from the office and gathered at the assembly point, those responsible for fire safety reported to the drill leader on the presence of employees: everyone had evacuated, no one remained in the office. After that, the drill leader once again reminded those present of safe methods for using primary fire extinguishing equipment (fire extinguisher). All employees who did not have skills in the practical use of fire extinguishers were given the opportunity to use primary fire extinguishing equipment in practice, practicing fire extinguisher use skills.
