Labor Protection Day is celebrated annually on April 28. The date was chosen by the International Labor Organization. It coincided with the Memorial Day of the Deceased Workers, which has been held on the initiative of trade unions since 1989. In Russia, Labor Protection Day events usually take place not for one day, but for a week. So, in 2024, more than 1,600 workplace safety events were held in Moscow in 7 days. In total, they lasted 2,400 hours.
